With the runaway success of the Neat Petite Classic the welcome return of the Elite was only a matter of time. The new Neat Elite Classic utilizes the same width and depth of the Petite, but in a floorstanding design. Designed around the AMT tweeter and fitted witht he same mid/bass driver from the falgship Ultimatum range, you are getting a speaker with an already cemented pedigree.
The Elite Classic is dual-ported and is raised above a new acrylic base by four machined spacers to allow the lower port to perform optimally.

The Elite Classic is essentially a floor-standing version of the Petite Classic, but it delivers far more than might be expected from this seemingly straightforward 2-way design. In this version the Air Motion Transformer (AMT) is matched to the bass/midrange unit from Neat's prestige Ultimatum models. The Elite also features a dual-port tuning system to deliver deep, well-controlled bass frequencies. As always, crossover components are chosen with great care to attain ideal matching of the drive units.
The cabinet is mounted above an acrylic plinth, which offers great stability. Delivering a presentation suggesting a much bigger speaker, the compact and elegant Elite can be placed easily in many domestic situations.
