Product reviews for Quad Artera Solus & S1 Speaker Bundle

Having heard the Solus/S1 combo at the Bristol What HiFi exhibition 2018, I was immediately keen to acquire one as soon as possible to replace my ageing, bulky Quad separates system. Without going into too many details or tech jargon, I have to say that after three months the product continues to live way beyond my expectations... I have thrown every conceivable genre of music from Leftfield to organ recitals at it and it has never once failed to hit the spot, never anything short of astonishing. Its Bluetooth quality is particularly impressive and it takes HD tracks in its stride; friends have commented that if you were to put a curtain up between the speakers and your chair, you'd swear it was a live performance in the same room, which is of course the mantra that Quad pride themselves on.

Equalling the product's performance however, is Harrow Audio's customer service. First of all, I could not believe the price (although technically Quad are at fault here; they could charge twice the amount for the Solus and I believe it would still sell). Secondly, they advised and provided (at no extra cost) an alternative cable which suited my needs more ideally, and thirdly the silver fronted model that I ordered wasn't available for several weeks so the company provided me with the black model in the meantime, which was then later exchanged - again at no further cost. Even the couriers they used were brilliant.

I am no hifi expert, but if I could give this six stars, I would. I doubt very much that there is much out there that is so compact or versatile for this money.

Replacing aged mid severnties audio system and always fancied a Quad. The Solus and S1 speakers realy perform, never heard Leonard Cohen and Mark Knophler sound so good.

Not dissapointed and excellent service from Harrow!

Only needed to add a Rega preamp which realy put new life into an old Dual turntable.
